The Dwarvendim now have full control of the Tellandra. The Shadows have been destroyed and the LoreMasters have returned to Stoneholme to claim it as their own. For Halokim Vesh it is a time to settle down and enjoy the rewards of his great victories. It is a hope shortlived.
In the north trouble brews as old wounds are reopened within the Clans of the Hordim. The Jotun have broken from the power of the Mutan and once again prepare for war against the nations of Man. This time however, they have found a way around the impregnable frontier fortress of Maenum and infiltrate quietly southwards into Arborell, waiting for their moment. In a world that again seems to be rushing headlong into conflict Halokim is summoned to the Grand Circle of LoreMasters. They have a new quest, one that sends the Tak Lovar and himself into the desolation of the Sanhar Wastes, searching for the secrets of the Ather'Lorell. With this new knowledge he must find the leadership of the Jotun Clans and bring peace back to the world. It is a peace desperately needed as an even greater menace lurks beyond the horizon, one that may destroy them all.
The Jotun War concludes this first trilogy and will become available towards the end of 2003.
