Triad of Skulls by Stuart Lloyd

Prizes - Winning Entrant

The winner of the Windhammer Prize will receive the following:

  • $100 AUD (Australian Dollars) to be paid within 48 hours into a Paypal account of the winner's choosing. As this is an international competition it has been decided that Paypal is the best mechanism for distributing the prize. If you do not have access to a valid Paypal account the cash prize cannot be paid.
  • A framed certificate memorialising their success in the competition.
  • Two years hosting of their story on arborell.com. This is optional and is at the discretion of the winning entrant.

Prizes - Meritorious Entries

Two entries shall also be chosen for Merit prizes. These entrants shall receive a framed certificate and a year's hosting of their entries on arborell.com. As with the hosting of the winning entry this is optional and is at the discretion of the entrant.

A Note on the 2009 Windhammer Prize

Due to the success of this year's competition the 2009 Windhammer Prize will be going ahead. Now as an annual competition the 2009 prize will provide authors with longer development time and additional support in developing entries. Notifications will begin from the 1st of May 2009 and a competition timetable will be published at that time.
In order to improve the quality of next year's Windhammer prize I would appreciate any feedback that interested authors or readers are prepared to give. The entrants in this year's competition have done a great job considering the short development time given, and I would like to improve the experience for all who participate next time around.

All books entered into this competition are the intellectual property of their respective authors. Any questions regarding the Windhammer Prize can be directed to the competition sponsors at feedback@arborell.com
