The Fourth Eliminations

The sky flashed as lightning arced from cloud to cloud. Mere seconds later a great boom of thunder rocked the air, and rain poured down from the heavens, blanketing the city of Parravon and the surrounding countryside in a grey veil of rain, wind and mists.

Protected from the rain by the roof on his alcove, the King's Herald spoke to the Scribe in a few short words, before turning to announce the name of the first Squire to be removed in these Eliminations. "Pierre de Gisoreux, step forward!" Doing as he was commanded, Pierre de Gisoreux stepped forward, looking grim and disappointed as he stood in front of his comrades.

"Falstaf Doutreive Cunningmare XVII, step forward!" commanded the Herald, and the chosen Squire did so. Falstaf did not wear the same look of disappointment that his fellows often did when eliminated, instead, he looked proud that he had come as far as he had.

"Pierre de Gisoreux and Falstaf Doutreive Cunningmare XVII, you have done well to come to where you are. Unfortunately, you are not yet ready to continue in the Trials. Perhaps one day you shall be, but not today. Pierre de Gisoreux and Falstaf Doutreive Cunningmare XVII, you are both hearby eliminated from this Tournament. Return to your lords and train for another day." With the ending of the Herald's speech, the Marshalls stepped forward to take the shields from the removed Squires, who duely handed them over. With their shields placed on hooks alongside those who had been previously eliminated, the two Squires left the arena, and were soon followed by their comrades.

As the storm grew louder and heavier, the Round had ended. For now...
